Animal Diagnostic Sàrl.

Presentation

Our Team

Dr. Liselore Roelfstra

Co-founder and director of Animal Diagnostic Sàrl.

Biologist, specialist in veterinary parasitology.

My scientific interests lie mainly in livestock health issues, with a special focus on immunology, epidemiology and horses parasitic diseases.

In 2001, I completed my master's work with Professor Kurt Pfister on the seasonal epidemiology of gastrointestinal parasites in horses.

Doctoral Thesis : Study of immune system different mechanisms at play in the host-parasite interaction when the horse is infested by botflies (gasterophilus).

We created our veterinary parasitology diagnostic laboratory in 2013 and since then we continue to be passionate about new techniques and influences.

The growing expansion of selective deworming is certainly one of our greatest satisfaction.

Dr. Marion Quartier

Co-founder of Animal Diagnostic Sàrl.

Biologist, specialist in parasitology and tropical diseases.

Passionate about parasitology, my heart has always swayed between veterinary parasitology and so-called neglected tropical diseases. I was fortunate throughout my scientific career to be able to realize my two dreams during my doctoral thesis years.

Hunt for strongyles on the Franche-Montagnes pastures and hematophagous bugs (Reduvidae) in the middle of the Amazonian forest.

Today, I put my research and diagnosis skills at the service of horses, to insure the best possible detection of their parasites and the most suitable treatments, with due respect to all the living beings which compose the pastures ecosystem of our companions.

Doctoral thesis : Study of the impact of anthropization on the evolutionary ecology of vectors of Chagas Disease, case of three Tapajós communities in the Brazilian Amazon.

Kurt Pfister

Prof Dr vet med (em), Dip EVPC

Chair of Comparative Tropical Medicine and Parasitology, University (LMU), Munich
European Veterinary Parasitology Specialist

After studying veterinary medicine, Kurt Pfister turned to animal pathology and parasitology. After obtaining a doctorate in veterinary parasitology, he furthered his training in parasitology at the Universities of Neuchâtel, Grenoble and Glasgow, before returning to the position of Assistant Professor at the University of Bern.

Collaborations

In order to offer the best services and stay open to new products, we are working with biologists and veterinarians who are experts in their fields.

Dr Vet Med Ophélie Christen-Clottu

Enges (Switzerland)

Veterinarian since 2001, I worked as an assistant in various mixed practices. Being very interested in equine medicine, I had the chance to work at the National Stud in Avenches and to do my doctorate on the "Treatment of equine sarcoids with a mistletoe preparation, Iscador® P" in collaboration with the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture (FiBL) in Frick and the Vetsuisse Faculty of the University of Bern.
